The latest data from the NYSE involving Margin Debt shows it continues to
increase. Margin Debt is now at an all time high as the peak in the Summer
of 2007 has been exceeded. Remember Margin Debt is the amount of
money borrowed by investors to trade in the market. 
However the Inflation Adjusted NYSE
Margin Debt still hasn't quite reached the levels of 2007 but is higher than
what occurred in early 2000 (red line represents a 6 Month Moving
Average). Currently the Inflation Adjusted Margin Debt has spiked
above its 6 Month Moving Average. Keep in mind the last two times
the Inflation Adjusted NYSE Margin Debt spiked above its 6 Month Moving Average
(points A) significant corrections occurred in the S&P 500. So the
question remains will it happen again?
